Balloons Day Parade

Like the Balloon Parades that are organised every year since 1924 in New York, Brussels will be putting on such a grand show as the Balloon Day Parade for the second time. Gigantic helium balloons in the shape of comic strip characters, animals, objects, etc. will cross the city’s main arteries. They will be accompanied by the folklore groups of the City of Brussels, parades by the police, fire brigades and the famous marching bands, as well as spectators in very large numbers.
